The right song can completely reframe your workout. Picture this: you’re two miles into your midweek run and your legs feel like lead. You’re tempted to slow the pace, start walking, or even turn around and head home early. Then, your favorite song pops up on your iPod.

Before you know it, your arms are pumping, your legs are flying, and you’ve got a smile on your face. Your leaden legs now feel lighter than air. Music can be a powerful motivator.
