Podcasts We LOVE!

The Lily Trotters team consists of a handful of diehard podcast fans. We find a good podcast can help make everyday life a lot less mundane, but can also help us get through tough times, laugh or escape from reality. The podcast universe is always expanding - there really is something for EVERYONE.

We'll be keeping a running list of shows and episodes that we really enjoy below...

Glennon Doyle on Unlocking Us - We LOVE Brene Brown's, Unlocking Us, podcast in general. It is so so good. But, this episode in particular really resonated with us. Hope you like it too!

Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend - Many would agree that laughter cures all and we’d be remiss if we didn’t share a podcast that will bring laughter to the forefront of your life. A good distraction from anything that may be weighing you down, Conan O’Brien allows his listeners to escape into 60 minutes (or so) of pure giggle-bliss (yep, we’re including giggle-bliss as a legit state of being). Conan and his team are hilarious. Even the ads will have you smiling from ear to ear. So, if you’re feeling overwhelmed with life - press pause on that by pressing play on the latest Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend episode. This episode just happens to be our current fave.

This American Life - No Coincidence No Story - A true classic, This American Life, offers up stories that range from serious to silly, current events to historic happenings and fictional tales. The No Coincidence No Story will leave you saying..."no way!" A fun collection of some of the craziest stories of coincidences we've ever heard!

The Tim Ferris Show - Lily Trotters Founder & Designer, Susan, recommends The Tim Ferris Show for his diversity of interesting guests and very deep and long interviews. Great for long walks or runs or car rides or whatever really!!

Sinisterhood - Ambassador, Mies Bastille, enjoys listening to Sinisterhood where "Dallas based comedians and friends, Christie Wallace and Heather McKinney, focus on a different true crime, cult, or creepy topic each week and chat all things sinister in this funny and well-researched podcast."
